Sebastian won a 50%-job as assistant principal cellist in the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra.

Mar 16, 2009: Caplet Performance and Interview on Radio Suisse Romande 2

On March 19 from 20 pm to 22:30 pm, Swiss french Radio Suisse Romande 2 Espace 2 will send an Interview with Sebastian Diezig as well as a recording of the concert on March 6 in Lugano with Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, concuctor Howard Shelley and Sebastian Diezig as soloist in André Caplet's Epiphany Cello Concerto. Further more on the programe is Haydn's Symphony No. 87, Poulenc's Sinfonietta as well as Tansman's Sinfonietta No. 2.

Mar 9, 2009: Bach-Suites-Project "in schnee" in Luxembourg's Grand-Théâtre

On june 18 and 19 in this year, Mattia Zappa, David Pia and Sebastian Diezig are going to perform for the last time all the six Bach Solo Suites for violoncello in one evening with choreography by Joachim Schloemer. The project started last year at the Lucerne Festival and was then played in the theatres of Heidelberg, Freiburg i. B. and Opéra de la Monnaie Brussels to great critical acclaim. Press reviews...
