27. Dvorak Cello Concerto with OVUF under the baton of Alexandru Ianos The Dvorak Cello Concerto is one of the most beautiful Cello Concertos if not the most beautiful of them all and for sure the most famous one. Recently I had the opportunity to play it in Fribourg with the Orchestre de la Ville et de l'Université de Fribourg under the baton of Maestro Alexandru Ianos. A great experience! Here comes the video for my own "Digital Concert Hall". Enjoy it!
26. 6th Suite for Cello solo by Bach - Sarabande and Gigue The Suite No. 6 for Cello solo by Johann Sebastian Bach is one of the trickiest pieces to play because it was written for a cello with 5 strings. Today most people play it on the instrument they have which means only 4 strings like seen in this video. Hence the difficulty.

23. Kodaly Duet op. 7 in Fribourg 2012 Kodaly's beautiful hungarian style duet is undoubtedly one of the most important contributions to the repertoire for the duo violin/cello. Here you can hear and watch it as my wife Paula Novoa (violin) and myself (cello) play it in Fribourg. First movement:

22. Mauro Giuliani Serenata A Major op. 19 in Lucerne 2013 Giuliani wrote a very beautiful chamber work here. It's operatic belcanto with just a violin (Christina Gallati), a guitar (Maria Efstathiou) and a cello (Sebastian Diezig).
21. Hugo Wolf Italian Serenade in Lucerne 2013 During rehearsals we played this piece also at very slow speeds. That's when I realized that the amount of harmony changes is staggering - Wolf must have been more than just your ordinary workaholic composer. Christina Gallati (Violin I), Keiko Yamaguchi (Violin II), Markus Wieser (Viola) and Sebastian Diezig (Cello).
20. Boccherini Guitar Quintet G448 in D Major for Lucerne 2013 Luigi Boccherini stands for tasteful and elegant classical music italian style. Maria Efstathiou (Guitar), Christina Gallati (Violin I), Keiko Yamaguchi (Violin II), Markus Wieser (Viola) and Sebastian Diezig (Cello).
19. Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco Quintet in Lucerne 2013 This music is amazing and yet relatively unknown. My orchestra colleagues Christina Gallati (first violin), Keiko Yamaguchi (second violin) as well as my chamber music friends Markus Wieser (viola) and Maria Efstathiou play the colorful masterpiece.

Dvorak Cello Concerto: Last movement "Klingendes Plakat" As a publicity effort for the next concert in Fribourg on May 5 at 17:00 in Aula magna de l'Université with the Orchestre de la Ville et de l'Université de Fribourg under the baton of Alexandru Ianos I recorded the last movement of the famous Dvorak Concerto. Feel free to share this video anywhere you like and above all come to the concert where you will hear me play the whole concerto!
16. LeClair Trio Sonata No. 8 This sonata by Jean-Marie LeClair is a beautiful piece of music and I had the great pleasure to play it with my wife Paula Novoa (violin) and my aunt Silvia Nowak (harpsichord) in a packed church in Blitzingen for our traditional christmas concert. This christmas concert has become a big event over the years and myself as a citizen of Blitzingen am very happy to be able to contribute to the tiny village's cultural calendar.
