Further information regarding my fees:

Travel and hotel expenses: Such expenses are already worked into the before mentioned fees as long as the concerts take place in Switzerland. For bookings in other countries we will have to agree on an additional fee to cover my costs for travel and hotel.

Negotiability: Not all organizations can afford my fees. But I cannot afford to loose money while working. My fees are negotiable within the before mentioned margins.

"Quantity discount": Of course I am fine to give you a discount if you book me for two or more concerts at once.

Too expensive: Call me anyways if you absolutely want to book me but can't possibly find the requested fees. We will see if we can find a good solution.

One possibility would be: No fixed upfront fee but a certain part of the ticketing sales and/or the donations at the end of the concert. This solution is good for me if you can guarantee that a lot of people will be attending the concert.

Another possibility would be that you find a sponsor (e.g. a business) who finances the concert. You could offer the business to print their name into the program booklet which is a good publicity. If they wish so I can also thank them during the concert from stage in a short speech which is even better publicity.

If I really like the project and it still doesn't work out financially I might agree to lower my fee somewhat.

Availability: As a contracted orchestra musician (100% with Lucerne Symphony) and because of my concerts as a chamber player and soloist I "enjoy" a busy schedule. Still it's usually possible to find performance dates if you have some flexibility.

It's easiest for me to accept bookings for the running concert season. For the coming season however I can't usually give you a definitive "Yes" or "No" because my orchestra gives me the definitive planning of the next season only in the summer before unless the date is in one of my holidays (summer, fall or carnaval). It's possible though to decide on a period in which the concert should take place or the reserve several dates and to see later on if there is a possibility.

Repertoire: I'll be happy to make propositions for the program. But feel free to suggest music you'd like to hear (see my repertoire for pieces I have already played). If the piece is good I am also happy to learn music that's not yet in my repertoire. Iitem2a1b4a7
